A few years back, shortly after my husband, Lynn and I got married we were looking for a business that we could do together. After a year or so of discussing a variety of ideas we finally hit upon the perfect solution! Lynn and I both love animals, Lynn was raised on a farm, and I had experience with raising dairy cows. We both had years of experience in animal husbandry. So when we discovered an article about alpacas in a magazine we both realized it was a perfect fit for us.
Through our research and initial farm visits we discovered that alpacas as an investment, a business and a lifestyle would give us the ability to work together towards a mutual goal, in an industry that is growing rapidly. We have found that alpacas are amazing creatures. They are gentle on the land with their padded hooves. They are quiet and yet very communicative with their sweet “humming” sounds. They are curious and yet subdued. We love spending time with our alpacas, and there are days that I could just sit and watch them for hours at a time, pronking and playing in the pastures. Just watching them is such a relaxing experiencing. While there is definitely physical work involved in taking care of alpacas. Any day working them is better than a day at the office!

We have intentionally chosen high quality animals, with superb genetics in order to establish our foundation herd. Our bloodlines include: Peruvian Royal Fawn, Peruvian Zephyrus, Peruvian Fire-N-Ice, Peruvian Dom Timbo. Peruvian Silvio, Nic-Nac and Black Jack Jax just to name a few.

While we started with a great foundation herd we have been breeding up in order to create crias with phenomenal fleece. Because we are a relatively small operation we are able to spend plenty of one on one time with each of our alpacas to ensure gentle temperaments and animals that are easy to handle. Through proper herd management an excellent feeding program and clean living conditions we insure that our alpacas health and well being.

We learned through our own experience that there is nothing more valuable than having excellent personalized customer service.
